INDIANAPOLIS — If NADA was about the broad horizons of the automotive industry, NTEA’s Work Truck Week 2026 was about the specialized tools and deep-rooted relationships that drive the commercial world forward. Returning to the Indiana Convention Center from March 10th - 13th, the Work Truck Solutions team delivered more than just demos—we unveiled a new standard for how commercial departments operate.
The highlight of the week began behind closed doors. Work Truck Solutions hosted an exclusive Inner Circle meeting, bringing together a select panel of veteran dealers to preview our most ambitious project to date: a purpose-built Commercial CRM.
The atmosphere was electric as we moved into round-table discussions. We didn’t just show slides; we listened. Dealers shared the raw truth about the frustrations of "making do" with retail-centric CRMs that don't understand multi-unit deals or upfitter timelines. These insights are directly fueling the final refinements of a tool designed by commercial experts, for commercial experts.
On Wednesday at 2:45 PM, Booth 637 was packed for our official press conference. Founder and CVO Kathryn Schifferle and CPO Alex Young introduced the industry to a CRM that finally ditches the "one person, one car" retail mentality.
“Commercial teams aren’t just selling trucks; they’re solving business problems,” said Aaron Johnson, CEO. “Now they’ll have a CRM that matches that mission.”
Multi-Unit Desking: Building complex quotes with multiple VINs and varied upfits in one professional flow.
Mobile-First Design: Engineered for the salesperson who is on the lot or at a job site, not tethered to a desk.
Commercial-Centric Pipelines: Tracking statuses like "waiting on upfit" and "in transit" rather than just "sold/unsold."
Fleet Cycling Tools: Proactively initiating replacement conversations based on real-world usage and preferred configurations.
Back on the floor, the energy remained high. We spent the week walking both new and long-term dealer partners through site optimizations. The impact was immediate—one dealer actually received a live lead while standing in the booth with our team! Seeing the "When can I get it?" conversation happen in real-time is the ultimate testament to the power of our optimized commercial sites and the Comvoy.com marketplace.
After the floor closed on Thursday, the focus shifted from software to spirits. Our Loungin’ Thursday after-hours party was the talk of the town, bringing together a cross-section of the industry, including OEM reps, dealers, and upfitters.
The night was filled with laughter, networking, and high-stakes giveaways. The excitement reached a fever pitch when one lucky dealer was so thrilled to win a gift that he performed a full cartwheel in the middle of the lounge! It was a perfect reminder that while the tech is serious, the community we’ve built together is what truly makes this industry special.
From the launch of the industry's first true commercial CRM to the high-energy connections made at Loungin' Thursday, Work Truck Week 2026 was a landmark event for our team. We left Indianapolis inspired and ready to help our partners turn these new tools into record-breaking revenue.
